Abstract: A combination model of chaos theory,wavelet analysis and support vector machine was developed with the case study of two reservoirs lo-cated on Shahe River and Lihe River of the Shaying River system within the Huaihe River watershed. Phase space reconstruction of Chaos analysis, multi-resolution function of wavelet and nonlinear approximation ability of support vector machine were fully utilized in the model development. NSE,PBIAS and RSR were employed to evaluate the integrated model. The results show that the calibrated period modeling accuracy and the vali-dated period simulation accuracy are optimal.
