Abstract: Objective To evaluate the curative effects of retroperitoneal laparoscopy combined with cystoscopic electrocision on the renal pelvic carcinoma. Methods From June 2008 to March 2011,24 patients with renal pelvic carcinoma were treated by retroperitoneal laparoscopy combined with cystoscopic electrocision. The clinical data were retrospectively analyzed. Results All the operations were successfully completed. The average operating time was (131 ± 28) min,and the volume of blood loss during operation was (81 ± 18)ml.The drainage tubes and catheters were removed 1-4 days and (7.2 ± 2.1) days after operation. No leakeage of urine or infection of incisional wound were reported.During the follow-up of 3-30 months,1 case of lung metastasis and 2 case of bladder tumor. Conclusions Retroperitoneal laparoscopy combined with cystoscopic electrocision is a safe and effective way for renal pelvic carcinoma.Compared with open surgery,it has advantages such as short operative time, small incision, less blood loss, rapid recovery and less complications.
