Abstract: As a linguistic concept , euphemism is also a cultural phenomenon and has played an irreplaceable important role in the inter-cultural communication process. Translation itself is a cross-cultural communicative act. The importance of euphemism translation has become increasingly prominent along with the enhancement of cross-cultural communication. This paper plans to discuss the characteris-tics and translation skills of euphemism from the perspective of intercultural communication so as to help language learning enthusiasts improve cross-cultural communication skills.
