Vibration characteristics of the support components in space camera

Abstract: The support components should have multiple functions in order to adapt to the needs of the camera carrying and space applications.Kinetic design should avoid resonance of the camera and satellite platform,and try to reduce the amplitude of the response.A two-degree-of-freedom vibration model of the support components and space camera is established to observe camera vibration response with the different stiffness and damping of the support components.The results show that the stiffness of the support components mainly influences the camera resonance frequency,and larger damping can reduce the resonance amplitude.Under the guidance of the model,using damping alloy can reduce the amplitude of the response because of the larger damping coefficient.According to the tests,space camera resonance frequency is within the available range and amplitude in each direction reduces more than 15%.
