Abstract: Based on author’s published paper Implementing Quality Education and Helping student staying true to himself, This paper compares the relationship among student, teacher and university to the relationship among seed, gardener and garden, points out that the internal and external cause of student development is greatly different from the internal and external cause of seed germination. Firstly, the paper mentions that culture is inseparable from the external cause of student development, and culture is the gene of human society. It has double attribute of instrumental rationality and value rationality; secondly, it analyzes that congenital gene is inseparable from the internal cause of student development, and perhaps congenital gene can make human become human being. It has an inseparable historical relation with the influence of culture; this paper also analyzes the education which fixed its position in culture field, points out that the education cultivates people with culture; Meanwhile, it analyzes the relationship between educating people and academic pursuits, and how to start a university; The Quality Education and The Quality-oriented Education has been analyzed, and the paper makes a clam to the teacher, leader and system from a cultural perspective. Finally, the paper returns to the subject Implementing Quality Education and Helping student staying true to himself, and makes a simple discussion.
