Abstract: As a typical representative in China, the program of Curriculum Elect and Learning Credit Recognition in Guangzhou University Town is an important measure to construct a first-class university town in Guangdong Province. Online education is playing a more and more important and positive role in this program. With the mode of instruction, support service system and evaluation system(mainly based on students’ satisfaction with courses) of public elective online-courses in South China Normal University, and with philosophy, curriculum, platforms, teachers, students, fees and other related issues analyzed, suggestions on this program are put forward based on the development of MOOC, ranging from improving the policy system, enhancing the platform design and development, researching the standard of credits and credit transfer, strengthening teachers’ training about strategies for online teaching,speeding up the construction of high-quality online courses to reforming the way the students learn.
