Abstract: This paper gives a general introduction to the clinical and experimental research on the treatment of bronchial asthma with acupuncture and moxibustion abroad in recent years. Acupuncture and moxibustion treatment may not only improve the patient’s clinical symptoms (smooth respiration, increaseof sputum and urine discharge, reducing of asthmatic attacks, and general improvement),but alsoraise the patient’s lung function and immunity. Therefore, acupuncture and moxibustion therapy is thought to be a good method in treating bronchial asthma.
