Application of the Internet of Things in the City Drainage System

Abstract: At present,operation and management of sewage drainage pumping station and pipeline relies on GPS technology,lack of effective safety management means in operation management process,and the system is not stable,the data transmission ability and management ability is not enough. A new drainage pumping station monitoring was proposed based on the Internet of things; this technology will realize a comprehensive application of video monitoring,network sensor system,communication system technology. According to the practical application,the technology can be used to improve the pumping station data communication,strengthen safety management,easy to handle emergency pumping station.
