Abstract: To solve the problems of city street lights backward in control method,a new light control street lights system is designed. Take AT89C51 microprocessor as the core chip,using the I/O port of the microprocessor to control digital display system,DS1302 real time clock system,ADC0808 analog-to-digital conversion system,DAC0808 digital-to-analog conversion system and pyroelectric infrared detection system,which can realize automatic control of the city street lights. System simulation is carried out by using PROTUES software and the system is debugged. The results show that the automatic adjustment function of street light switches can be realized by the designed system.
