Effect of Yiqi Huoxue Tongluo Formulaon TCM Syndrome and Nailfold Microcirculation in Elderly Hypertensive Patients

Abstract: Objective To expl ore the effect of Yiqi Huoxue Tongluo f ormula(YHTF)on traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome and nailfold microcirculation in elderly hypertensive patients with qi-deficiency and blood-stasis syndrome.Methods Eighty patients with elderly hypertension and qi-deficiency and blood-stasis syndrome were randomly divided into treatment group treated with YHTF and amlodipine besylate tablet,and control group treated with amlodipine besylate tablet.Antihypertensive efficacy and safety were evaluated,and integral value of nailfold microcirculation and TCM syndrome were compared bef ore and after treatment.Results In antihypertensive efficacy,the total effective rate were 95.0%in treatment group and 87.5%in control group,there was no significant difference between the two groups.The incidence of side effect was lower in the two groups.The total effective rate of TCM syndrome in treatment group was 95.0%,compared with that in the control group(72.5%),there was significant difference.The f orm of the capillary,the blood flow,the perivascular condition and the total sc ore reduced in the treatment group after treatment,the difference was statistically significant compared with that bef ore treatment.Integral value of the f orm of the capillary was reduced in the control group,there was significant difference compared with that bef ore treatment.Conclusion YHTF had better therapeutic effect in elderly hypertensive patients with qi-deficiency and blood-stasis syndrome,and could effectively improve hypertensive microcirculation obstacle.
