Abstract: Objective:To explore how to improve cardiovascular intervention checklist and enhance safety of patient transfer and delivery. Methods:We set up special group to improve intervention checklist, and analyzed potential safety problems throughout patient transfer and delivery processes. According to the phased management methods in the"operation safety checklist"by the original Ministry of Health and the characteristics of patient transfer and delivery, and based on the check and delivery processes in the phases of patient picking-up, operation and returning, we improved the intervention checklist, especially emphasized the safety of the list itself. Finally, questionnaire survey was conducted to evaluate the safety of checklist before and after it was improved. Results:Processes for transferring and delivering cardiovascular intervention patients became standard, and the safety of patient transfer and delivery processes also showed significant improvement. Conclusion:The improved"patient transfer and delivery checklist for intervention operation"can signiifcantly improve the transfer and delivery safety of cardiovascular intervention patients.
