Abstract: The simulation of infrared image can test and evaluate the dynamic performance of infrared detection system and be used in infrared camouflage such as decoy. Using electric heating film to simulate infrared image is simple and cheap. The relationship between electric resistance distribution and power distribution was revealed. The electric heating film for simulating target was designed, and then its infrared images were obtained. Then the similarity between electric heating film infrared image and original target infrared image was compared. At last the generation time of infrared image was tested. Fine infrared image can be generated quickly using electric heating film.
