Abstract: Artificial heart valve was the key to treatment of valvular heart disease. The research progress of mechanical valves, bioprosthetic valves and tissue-engineering heart valves were summarized, and the problems of artificial heart valve which need to be solved and improved were noted. Then the trends of artificial heart valve in the future were prospected.
