Sintering Process of AgSnO2(12) Powder Compact by Water Atomization

Abstract: The Bi and Cu doped AgSn alloy powders were prepared by water atomization. The powders were compacted under various unit compacting pressure after oxidation, and then sintered two hours, four hours and six hours respectively at 880 ℃, 900 ℃ and 920 ℃ in muffle furnace. Effects of unit compacting pressure, sintering temperature and sintering time on the density and the hardness of the AgSnO2 composite materials were studied. Results show that the density and the hardness of the materials will be improved with the increase of unit compacting pressure, sintering temperature and sintering time.
