Abstract: GDEM data which is a high-resolution data of DEM used to gully vector data through arcgis software .To set the threshold to extract the debris flow disaster data and checking the correctness of data by superposition existing ge -ological disaster survey data;application of TM images after data preprocessing ,radiometric correction,geometric correc-tion,atmospheric correction ,extraction of vegetation coverage ,NDVI form TM image superimposed extracted debris flow disaster data analysis to study the correlation between the debris flow hazards and vegetation cover and NDVI ,to seek its own rules and reduce the hazards of debris flow hazards .
