Abstract: A novel UHF RFID(Ultrahigh Frequency Radio Frequency Identification) reader is developed for the asset management of electric intelligent meters.An improved directional coupler method is considered to solve the problem of reader carrier leakage,and the FH-Q select(Frequency Hopping based Q select) anti-collision algorithm is proposed.The isolation of directional coupler is increased by port mismatch and the power of antenna reflector is reduced by adaptive network in order to decrease the carrier leakage and improve reading efficiency.The interference is prevented by frequency hopping in FH-Q select algorithm on the basis of optimizing the general DFSA(Dynamic Frame Slotted ALOHA) so as to solve the problem of multi-label collisions and quick batch identification under the complex electromagnetic environment.
