Abstract: Subsynchronous resonance may occur when transmitted power is improved through the line with series compensation capacitor in wind farm.This paper analyzes the mechanism of subsynchronous resonance in wind farm,as well as the effect of SVC in suppressing the subsynchronous resonance of wind farm.Then SIMPLEX algorithm is integrated with fuzzy control technology of single membership functions for designing SVC additional damping controller based on fuzzy control of single membership functions.Compared with the conventional fuzzy controller,this proposed controlling scheme is superior in suppressing subsynchronous resonance rapidly.The simulation results verified its superiority.
