Abstract: The vibro-roller compacted concrete(VRCC)pavement is made of dry concrete withfly ash as admixture and compacted with vibrating roller.This kind of pavementcan improve the performances of concrete and save 30% cement.In this paper,thevibrating roller's parameters are specified the pncedure of the vibrated-rollingis proposed and the mechanism of the vibrated-rolling explained.Through a series of experiments on performances of VRCC,the principle ofusing cement concrete of low plasticity in super course of pavement and VRCC inlower layer for pavement smoothness is put forward.
