Abstract: Limitations of traditional stereo vision method were analyzed. The Principal theory of multibaseline stereo vision was introduced. Aiming to solve the difficult vision problem of 3D depth reconstruction of the objects with no matching textures on its surface, we present an active multibaseline stereo vision system based on stripe lighting and apply it to 3D modeling problem of this kind of objects. Experiment shows that our method is valid and reliable.
