Abstract: Analysis of amino acids by the HPLC Pico-Tag method was studied in this paper. The procedure for analysis was optimized. It was found that the pH value of mobile phase was 6.40 with a RSD of 0.59%, and reliable results were obtained by injecting the sample after 5 minutes of adding sample diluent solution. The content of amino acids in chicken intestines was also determined and the content of essential amino acids was 34.9%. This method was rapid, sensitive, accurate and reproducible.
