Abstract: This paper presents two rules of the least weight reciprocal principle and derives the basic formulas of various adjustment methods,such as condition adjustment,para- meter adjustment,condition adjustment with parameters and parameter adjustment with condition of unknowns. Comprehending all the methods mentioned above,the unified adjustment and the Law of conservation of adjustment are obtained.
