Abstract: Based on complex ray theory,the Gaussian beams emitted by complex source points are employed to simulate the far-field pattern of antennas.In this paper.three methods of simulation are proposed,i.e.miainlobe matching,peak matching and point-by-point matching,and some calculation results for varieties of patterns are given.Numerical results of analysis and optimization show that the peak matching method is an accurate and practical approach for antenna pattern simulation.
