Abstract: Jiangsu Province Changzhou Qishuyan Rolling Stock Plant is a large railway industrial enterprise with a staff of 12,000 odds including 2700 technicians of various kinds of specialities.It has 4200 sets of mechanic instrument and equipment.Its products has advanced design means with strength design capability,casting capability and machining capability.It mainly undertakes the develop- nent,manufacture and repair of the bulk products and their fittings and parts such as passenger and freight diesel locomotive on the railway main lines,freight wag- on,high-power diesel engine,diesel generator,bogie for locomotive and freight car and so on.In the mean- while,it undertakes the design,manufacture,mainte- nance as well as forging,casting and pressing mould de- sign and manufacture for varied kinds of mechanic equip- ment and the processing of large foging casts.Its self- designed"Dong Feng"Brand Model-8 locomotive won the first prize of 1990's National Scientific and Technical Progress.
