Abstract:
1965美国锡勒(G、D、Searle)和斯莱特(Jame schlatter)在合成促胃酸激素四肽时,进行生物检查发现N-L-α天冬氨酸-L苯丙氨酸甲酯具有甜味。根据双肽结构,他们知道本品无毒,进一步品尝后发现它有类似蔗糖的甜味,后来经过200多次试验,决定将它作为商品投产,命名为阿斯巴甜(Aspartame)简称APM。准备投产理由是:1、APM甜度高,甜味质量优异。2、APM是天冬氨酸和苯丙氨酸的甲酯,主要成份都是很普通,可以参加人体代谢。3、预料在毒性试验和应用时都没有残留毒性。4、不能再制造比APM更经济的类似产品。
