Abstract: With reference to the relevant specifications of GA HDTV transmission system,this paper presents an implementation scheme of the bit synchronization system of HDTV receiver.It is based on the data-aided (DA)timing recovery algorithm.The influence of the pattern of the data segment sync here used as aid data to the system performance is discussed ,and the convergence and jitter characteristics under noise conditions are also analyzed.Simulation results show that this bit synchronization system performs well and is widely applicable to fields where the data stream contains periodic segment syncs.
