Abstract: This paper proposes a practical fast and accurate temperature control system including its structure, characteristics and design method. It uses CARI model and generalized predictive control to improve the performance of the system, i.e. to increase the control accuracy of the system and to decrease the response time of the system. It gives the design method and experiment results for a fast and accurate temperature control system, and improves the GPC algorithm which was proposed by Clarke etc. according to the demands of our task. This scheme of the fast and accurate temperature control system can work and meet all requirements of the task.
