Abstract: This paper presents the mechanism of melanin formation and the possible ways of getting skin - whitening/anti - freckle, and introduces traditional and new technical active ingredients of skin - whitening agents. And also author summarizes the present market situation of skinwhitening/antifreckle cosmetics in China, as well as forceasts the developing trend for this market in the future.
