Abstract: Developments and current situation on the studies on electrochemical deposition were outlined. The main investigation achievements from our reserching group were introduced in the aspects such as mechanisms of electrochemical deposition and electrocrytallization, actions of complexing agents and additives on deposition, novel processes and investigation skills on electrochemical deposition and the relationships between microstructure and properties of deposits, etc.
