Abstract: Objective To study current developments in research of primarysclerosing cholangitis(PSC). Methods The literatures in recent years were reviewed. Results A number of evidences suggested that immune mechanisms played an important role in etiology of PSC. Its diagnosis was primarily made by cholangiography and all used therapies only relieved symptoms and improved hepatic function temporarily.
