Morphology and structure of α-PbO2 interlayer of β-PbO2 electrode

Abstract: 为了改善钛基β-PbO2电极的性能,以含SnCl4和SbCl3的异丙醇-浓盐酸混合液为原料,采用热沉积法制备了SnO2-Sb2O3底层,再采用电沉积方法在由PbO和NaOH组成的电解液中制备了α-PbO2中间层.利用扫描电镜(SEM)和X射线衍射(XRD)考察了SnO2-Sb2O3底层的形貌与结构,并研究了电沉积时的电流密度、温度和时间对α-PbO2中间层的影响.实验结果表明,SnO2-Sb2O3底层主要由SnO2晶体组成,其表面呈干裂泥土状.在电沉积α-PbO2中间层时,电流密度不宜大于3 mA/cm2,温度宜为40~60℃,时间应控制在1.0h左右.
