Abstract: 条山铁、铜多金属矿床位于华北板块与扬子板块的接合部位、秦岭多金属成矿带东段桐柏-大别山成矿亚带内,区内构造线呈NWW向展布,含矿地层为二郎坪群变细碧-角斑岩系,它经历了4个喷发旋回,形成了本区多金属成矿的4个含矿层位.第一旋回的顶部为一富铁矿层,为姑山式火山熔浆型含铜锌磁铁矿层;该层位自陕西三条岭,向东经汤河、太坪镇至桐柏毛集;条山铁、铜多金属矿床分布在二郎坪群变细碧-角斑岩系与燕山期花岗岩接触部位,硅化、绿泥石化、矽卡岩化明显,往往形成富磁铁矿体;矿体呈层状、似层状,透镜状;与围岩呈渐变过渡关系,成因为火山喷流沉积-热液叠加改造富集的块状磁铁矿矿床.区域上NWW-SEE向晚元古-早古生代形成的裂谷型二郎坪蛇绿岩套是本区找矿的最佳区段.二郎坪群含铁层位及夕卡岩化是寻找铁矿的重要找矿标志,二郎坪群蛇绿岩套横贯河南省西南部,连续延伸400余千米,在豫西南寻找该类铁矿前景广阔.
