%The establishment of an integrated science curriculum in a secondary school is a breakthrough in the new curriculum reform. Teachers' knowledge is a strong influential factor for the implementation of the inte- grated curriculum. Based on classroom observations and interviews with teachers, the research discovers: more professional and diversified teacher knowledge indicates more successful and efficient teaching; the most difficult knowledge for teachers who do not major in this discipline at college is physics, rather than biology, astronomy or geography; efficient teachers possess an interrelated and intertwined network of teacher knowl- edge. Actually teachers' knowledge level determines the implementation quality of the integrated science cur- riculum. In order to promote the curriculum implementation, a development of teachers' knowledge is re- quired.
