Abstract: On a pulverized-coal fluidized bed experimental rig with 0.3 MW heat input, the distribution characteristics of CO (%) (CO concentration in the gas) and C (%) (C content in the coal ash) in PC-FB＇s free combustion zone (FCZ) are studied. The influence of many factors on the distribution of CO (%) and C (%) in FCZ are investigated, such as bed temperature, fluidizing velocity, secondary air ratio, O2 concentration and secondary air ratio of each layer.
