Abstract: Objective To observe systemically the microscopic structure and ultrastructure of main organs and tissues of Carassius Auratus red variety in order to provide the available basis for the interrelated study. Methods The microscopic structure and ultrastructure of the main organs and tissues of two year's old Carassius Auratus red variety were observed by means of optical microscope and transmission electronic microscope. Results There are free pancreas tissues in liver of Carassius Auratus red variety and elliptic globes were observed in the spleen, including netted cells and netted fibre scabbard wrapping blood capillary. Kidney units are composed of brush hair edge segmentes and assemble tubes but without kidney minor ball. Stomach is intestine tube that is slightly large, and the wall is thicker. The alimentary canal is essentially made of four layeres, which are similar to those of mammals. The structures of heart and vessel tissues are loose. Conclusion The microscopic structure and ultrastructure of main organs and tissues of Carassius Auratus red variety have been made clear. The results can provide the available basis for the study of Carassius Auratus red variety.
