Analysis of Tuberculin Test among Healthy People in Tengzhou City in 2003

Abstract: [Objective] The target of this analysis was to investigate the level of antibodies against tuberculosis in healthy people,so as to provide scientific basis for tuberculosis prevention measure.[Methods]140 healthy people were taken at random for tuberculin test,results were observed a 72 hours later.The results were statistically analyzed.[Results]Tuberculin test was carried out in 140 healthy people,the positive rate was 43.57%.There was significant difference between different age groups and different immunity history groups(P<0.01).While it was no different between males and female.The positive rate of tuberculin test was 88.46% among people aged 0～1.[Conclusion] Although there is no epidemic of tuberculosis in our city in recent years,the adult have a high risk to be infected.The implementation of measures such as improving the immunization coverage and the quality of BCG and strengthening the management of the infected patients is of great importance for effective prevention and treatment.
