Abstract: [Objective]To explore the epidemic trend of class B notifiable infectious diseases from 1963 to 2005 in shandong,provide scientific bases for prevention and control.[Methods]Analysis was conducted on the data of 19 kinds of acute class B infectious diseases from 1963 to 2005 with the method of descriptive epidemiology.[Results]The morbidity of infectious diseases was high in Shandong province during 60's 20 th century with the main epidemic of the infectious diseases of respiratory tract.The first five infectious diseases were malaria,influenza,measles,dysentery and epidemic cerebrospinal meningitis.The morbidity decreased greatly from 90's in Shandong province with the main epidemic of the infectious diseases of intestinal tract.The first five infectious diseases were viral hepatitis,epidemic hemorrhagic fever,measles,typhoid fever and scarlet fever.[Conclusion]The morbidity of class B acute infectious diseases decreased greatly in Shandong province,most of the infectious diseases had been brought under control.
