Abstract: Because the working condition of the continuous casting mould is extremely complex,it is very difficult to identify and analyze its temperature field.Based on the classical heat transfer theory,the heat transfer phenomenon in mould has been explored and analyzed,and the mathematical and physical models to describe the mould's temperature field have been established.The relevant parameters have been determined according to the actual conditions.And finite element analysis of temperature field has been carried out for the two simplified models of square and round billet moulds.The results can provide theoretical basis and reference data for the structural design and monitoring of continuous casting moulds.
