Treatment of pediatric depth Ⅱ degree burn with preserved-degenerative reticular dermis and thin skin autografting: Report of 10 cases

Abstract: Objective To explore a new operative way for the treatment of pediatric functional part depth burn.Methods Ten cases(12 parts)with deep partial-thickness burn (① degree) had been treated with tangential excision and denatured preserved- dermis and large sheet thin skin autografting.The operative areas had been bangdaged with pressure for 8-10days.Results All antografts in 10 cases survived and the functions recovered very well.The skin offering wounds healed quickly and there was no scar sequel.Conclusion The combined application of preserved- degenerative reticular dermis and thin skin autografting is demonstrated an ideal way for the treatment of pediatric depth burn.
