Expression of NF-κB in Myocardial Tissue of Canines with Acute Myocardial Ischemia Reperfusion Injury and Effects of Remifentanil Preconditioning on NF-κB

Abstract: Objective To study the expression of NF-κB in the cardiac muscle tissue of canines with acute myocardial ischemia reperfusion injury and effects of remifentanil preconditioning on NF-κB.Methods Eighty healthy hybrid canines were divided randomly into three groups: sham group(S group,n=6),ischemia-reperfusion group(I/R group,n=6) and remifentanil preconditioning group(RPC group,n=6).The models of MIRI were established by occluding the anterior descending branch of left coronary artery with 30 min ischemia and 2 h reperfusion.In RPC group,30 min's infusion of remifentanil of 1 μg/(kg·min) was administrated before ischemia.The expression of NF-κB in the cardiac muscle tissue were measured at 2 h after reperfusion by immunohistochemistry.Results Compared with the S group,the contents of NF-κB in RPC group and I/R group were highter significantly(P<0.05).Compared with the I/R group,expression of NF-κB in RPC group was attenuated(P<0.05).Conclusion The activity of NF-κB of reperfusion-2h increased significantly in the cardiac muscle tissue of canines with acute myocardial ischemia reperfusion injury.Remifentanil preconditioning could attenuate the activity of NF-κB of reperfusion-2h in the cardiac muscle tissue.
