Abstract: CO2 and N2O emissions were monitored in-situ in rape field in Chengdu plain from November 2005 to May 2006 and their controlling factors were discussed. Results show that the mean CO2 emission flux in the rape field was 656.8 mg·m-2·h-1,ranging from 121.4 to 1 585.8 mg·m-2·h-1,the mean N2O emission flux,168.0 μg·m-2·h-1,ranging from 18.0 to 521.0 μg·m-2·h-1.CO2 and N2O emission flux was highly correlated with soil temperature at 5 cm depth.Moreover,CO2 and N2O emission flux in the rape field was affected by soil organic carbon content, fertilization, soil temperature, plant growth and other various factors.
