Abstract: Objective:To explore the pathological characteristics and immunophenotype of perivascular neoplasms with epitheli- oid cell differentiation of colon.Methods:1 case of perivascular neoplasms with epithelioid cell differentiation of colon was confirmed, whose clinical pathological features and immunohistochemistry were analyzed and reviewed combining with relative literature. Results: The tumor was relatively well circumscribed.Microscopic findings:The tumor in an immediate perivascular location was epithelioid and spindle cells;resembling smooth muscle were seen away from vessels. The cells had a clear cytoplasm and oncocytic change.Thin capil- lary were seen rich in stoma areas. The tumor cells were positive for HMB45 but negative for CD34,CD31,S-100 and CK.Conclusion: The perivascular neoplasms with epithelioid cell differentiation are rare mesenchymal tumors, which are classified perivascular epithelioid cell correlated tumor because of their special morphology, and the malignant rarely appear.
