Abstract: DNA molecules can be condensed into nanometer-like condensation compounds under the effect of multivalent cations/polyvalent positive ions, including positive ion polymers, proteins, inorganic ions of high wtlence, etc.Condensation is aroused by 67~90% of neutralized negative charge of DNA phosphate base, whose process is accompanied by aggregation process of micrones.Common condensation compounds appear hooped, with the size of 50~300nm.Condensation is mainly affected by positive charge of condensation agent, whose structure as well as the size of DNA molecules and base component also influences the process of condensation.
