"Flame Retardancy of Polyurethane Foam Plastics"

Abstract: Containing combustible carbon-hydrogen chain segments, polyurethane foam plastics feature in small density and large specific surface area. Without flame retardancy, polyurethane materials as combustibles may burn and decompose along with lots of poisonous fogs when meeting fires, which cause troubles to put out fires. In particular, flexible polyurethane materials which own high open- ing ratio and abundant combustible components are flammable and hardly self-extinguished, because good ventilation helps oxygen supply.
