Abstract: The porous nanocrystalline titania particles were prepared by combination of urea-formaldehyde polymerization and the sol-gel method.The physical properties were characterized using X-Ray, SEM, and auto air adsorption The TiO 2 prepared under optmum initial pH has surface area 67.49m 2/g,pore volume 0.1cm 3/g, average pore diameter 6.75nm and average particle diameter 2.0μm. Compared to commercial TiO 2 nanoparticle, it is tested to be more efficient in dyeing water photocatalytic degradation.
