Abstract: The preliminarily verified ore reserves of the Jinkeng deposit is 2245464.8 t,including 17596.7 t of Cu-metal,5945.3 t of Sn-metal,31536.9 t of Pb-metal and 58095.2 t of Zn-metal.The main ore bodies of the deposit show the form of veins and are controlled by sliding fractured belts and can be divided into two types. The first type is located in a gray granodiorite porphyry and its spatial distribution is controlled by slinding fractured belts, the roof and bottom of ore bodies consist of strong altered schistositise belts, the vein-shaped and lens-shaped ore bodies are distributed in sliding fractured belts occurred in schistositise belts in the granodiorite porphyry. The other type is formed in the interlayer sliding fractured belts among layers of quartz schist, siltstone and carbonaceous mudstone and is mainly composed of a number of continuously or intermittently ranged lenses, the occurrence of ore bodies is strictly controlled by layers of rocks, the boundary line between vein and country rock is distinct. The purpose of this article is to offer a theoretical guidance for expanding reserves of the deposit basing on the thorough analysis on characteristics of ore bodies and metallogenic mechanism of the deposit.
