Abstract: Although Wei Liangfu innovated Kunqu tune, it is Shen Jing who standardized the musical rhythm of the opera. He not only specified the use of the four tones and the rhyme, but devoted himself to composing opera music which provided standard and reference for Kunqu composers, thus promoting the standardization of Kunqu musical rhythm.
