Abstract: Objective To explore the teaching methods of skull base microanatomy that is suitable for different level students through clinical teaching practice of micmanatomy. Method We used the dem-onstration of microanatomy,the live surgery and comment on skull base microsurgery during the skull base microanatomical teaching and through optimal combination we tried to find out the teaching methods that were suitable for different learner. Results The demonstration of microanatomy that was applied to the skull base anatomical teaching could make the student to master more knowledge. The demonstration of skull base surgical approach could be able to receive half the work with double teaching effect. The com-ment on skull base microsurgery make the students raise efficiency of ability connecting theory with clinical practice and set up three-dimensional microanatomy. Conclusions It was advantageous to arouses the student study enthusiasm by using demonstration of mieroanatomy, the live surgery and the comment on skull base microsurgery and improved the teaching quality in skull base microanatomical teaching and learn-ing. These teaching methods worth further practicing and promotion.
