Abstract: The highway from Hailaer to Manzhouli passes through the Hailaer wetlands,where a thin soft soil layer exists on the ground surface and the groundwater level is so high that in rainy seasons it rises over the ground surface.The dynamic replacement method(DRM)is chosen to consider comprehensively the feasibility of construction and economic effects.The dynamic compaction replacement is an economical,simple and convenient method for soil improvement.Through experimental study on dynamic replacement in the typical testing field,construction parameters are confirmed,and the key points of construction such as technological process are discussed,and the rationality of the said method used to improve the kinds of soft soil foundation is validated.
